Moving into a Closet with Seven Cats

“Make sure there’s a space for me,” I told my sister and brother-in-law as they searched for a house. After all, they’re the ones who decided we were moving. They’re the reason I have to give up my cute little cabin — it’s on their property, which I realize now was a mistake.

I have put myself entirely at their mercy.
